Privacy Policy for Tusiye

Tusiye ("we", "us", or "the app") is an Islamic educational platform that provides video lessons, quizzes, and certificates by paid subscription. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using Tusiye, you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to run the app and your account:
- Profile details you provide — your display name and, optionally, an email address. Your display name may appear on certificates you earn.
- Payment reference — when you subscribe, our payment partner returns a transaction reference that we store to confirm your subscription. We never see or store your mobile-money PIN or card details.
- Learning activity — lessons watched, watch position, quiz attempts and scores, and certificates earned, so we can track your progress.
- Basic technical data — standard app and device information needed to deliver video and keep the service secure.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and secure your account.
- To process your subscription and give you access to paid content.
- To save and show your learning progress, quiz results, and certificates.
- To deliver video lessons securely, using expiring signed links so paid content cannot be freely shared.
- To provide customer support and improve the app.
3. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make the app work, and only as needed:
- Supabase — secure database and authentication hosting.
- WaafiPay and mobile-money networks (e.g. EVC Plus, eDahab) — to process subscription payments.
- Bunny.net — to host and stream video lessons.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own security terms.
4. Data Security
Access to your data is protected by row-level security, so each user can only read their own records. Video links are signed and time-limited. Payment PINs are never transmitted to or stored by us.
5. Your Rights
- You can view and edit your display name and email in the app.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time in the app; access continues until the end of your paid period.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will delete it within a reasonable period, except where we must keep limited records (such as payment references) for legal or accounting reasons.
6. Children
Tusiye is intended for students and adult learners. Younger students should use the app with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Effective date" shown above.
